Biography of The P.I.N.S The P.I.N.S, a pop/alt/rock band from New York, consists of Joe Lorge(lead vox/rhythm guitar), Marc Lichtenstein(vox, lead guitar), Tony Maceli(bass), and Clayton Craddock(drums). The band formed in 2002 and performs songs written by Joe and Marc. The music can be described as a melodic and hook driven brand of rock and roll, complete with all the elements that make songs stick in your head well after you’ve heard them just one time. Their self-titled EP, The P.I.N.S (The People In Need of Supervision), demonstrates just five songs from their repertoire and shows the witty songwriting and hooky riffs which make their music memorable. The P.I.N.S songs range from rebelling teen age girls(aren’t you the girl who pulled down your pants right in front of the entire class and told us all to kiss your ass?), to the ramifications of war mongering and the families of those who perish(Are you ready for the dead we have to bury...are you ready?), to everyday snapshots of life(pass me the french fries, look at the roadside diner, in the land of rovers…). Check out their debut EP and there is little doubt that you will have these songs stuck in your head for days to come. History of The P.I.N.S Joe and Marc met through a mutual friend in early 2002 and instantly discovered a common interest in writing, creating and performing. After working on songs for most of 2002, they began searching for band members who shared their musical ideas and after auditioning many different musicians, they found the members who would end up forming The P.I.N.S. Marc is a former member of The Outpatients, a New York band that has toured both in the U.S and South America. Tony Maceli has played with bands such as Ben Harper, Dough, and Granian while Clayton Craddock has been a regular drummer for the Broadway shows RENT, and Little Shop of Horrors as well as performing on tour with Ari Hest.
