Hey, welcome to my glamorous and educational garageband page. I'm not going to lay some big CV on you or some wank about how great I am or whatever. I did th' LA thing in the early nineties and recorded and toured a lot and had a couple of radio hits on a Rykodisc album I did with my band fiction that didn't get much push and didn't really do anything. I did a lot of production and live sound and teched for Jane's Addiction and that. I just want to try to do really good music without getting wound up about how much it sells anymore. Maybe one day I'll figure out how to do music that works commercially but right now I just can't be bothered. My love of music was seriously tried by what people wanted from me in the industry and by making an effort to be a good little tedious pop star. There wasn't enough music in it for me. How would I describe this stuff? I almost don't want to because for all I know I'll start doing something completely different next week. I had a two-year period where I did nothing but write string quartets. I've gravitated towards a fairly sophisticated style because I love painstaking arrangements and I like to incorporate classical influences. I have no idea what the point is but I've stopped trying to figure it out. I'll just keep doing it until I croak and see what happens, you know? Enjoy.
